The Author

I’m a CFO but a CFO with, I like to think, a heart. I have over 30 years’ experience at major international service sector businesses and am now involved with start-ups in healthcare and education. In every job I have done I have looked to align the business I’m in with the numbers that the accountants produce – to measure performance effectively, you have to measure the right things. In the service sector in particular, values underpin everything a company should do so wherever I go, I look to see that the company aligns its business with its values before it does anything else.

About Håkan Winberg

Håkan Winberg has poured over 30 years of management experience with major international companies into this book. After graduating in Business Administration from Lund University in Sweden in 1981, he began working as an auditor at PwC in Malmö, Sweden. In 1985 Håkan joined Securitas where he happily worked as Controller, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Vice President (EVP) for 23 years, until 2007.
